Hey all, hoping someone has the answer to this or can point me in the right direction. I've done this very same thing for years in FCP and would love to be able to do the same in Premiere, but I can't figure it out.
Here's the situation:
I'm using the latest version of Premiere Pro CC (8.1.0 (81) ) build.
I've got 3 cameras I need to sync according to their timecodes. Each was jammed at the start of the day, set to time-of-day and free run, which means I've got a bunch of clips from each camera, depending on how many times the operators stopped/starting. (I.e., if all the clips from Camera 1 were laid down on a timeline and aligned by their timecodes, there would be gaps where the operator pressed start/stop.)
So ideally, I'd like a timeline with three video tracks - one for each camera - where every clip from each camera is synced by timecode, allowing for those aforementioned gaps.
Does anyone know how I might go about doing this? Any help is hugely appreciated.
