You should still try my suggestion. Bridge has only been around since 2005, so not 20+ years. I had the exact same issue until I did exactly what I noted above, then everything worked just fine.
The icon you are pointing out is exactly what I said it was. It's not stars. Click on a few stars on a file so they light up. Then click on that little circle with the line through it that you are pointing to. It will remove all of the stars you have highlighted.

I have been frustrated with Adobe Photoshop Development, support and bugs for years. I do not even look at other Adobe Products because of Photoshop Documentation, bugs and support. Still I find Photoshop has more function and feature than other Images editors and as old as Photoshop Scripting is I have not seen a other editor that can be automated as well as Photoshop can be with Actions and Scripts..
Anger is not going to do anything positive for you. The best you can do is give Adobe your feedback on their Feedback site. Venting Anger here is just going to annoy Adobe Users that are here to try to help uses use Photoshop and help them get around Adobe Problems. Please use Photoshop Family Customer Community

Font Usage Rights??
There is a set of fonts that come standard with Creative Cloud. Things like Arial, Myriad Pro, and Gabriola and dozens of others come with Creative Suite.
Before you talk about Type Kit, none of the fonts I'm talking about were downloaded from Typekit. There are dozens of fonts that are in the applications without downloading them from Type Kit. Those are the ones I'm asking about.
I am wondering about Commercial Rights (creating things for sale using the fonts), Embed Rights (Can I embed them into a PDF document that is for sale), Video Rights (Can I use these in a video to promote a commercial product). I'm sorry but I cannot find what I'm looking while searching.

But you cant truly judge and grade things if you are looking at the process used via a PSD file when things in the modern version of Photoshop will not load at all in such an old product.
Be that as it may, if you registered your product, and kept the information for the account you created at that time, you should still have access to anything you need. But if you didn't keep the receipt nor are you still using the same account that you registered the product under way back when you first purchased it, you are pretty much out of luck. And blaming Adobe for your lack of information storage is rather ridiculous. I can go to my account and see that I still have my old CS6, CS5, CS4 and CS3 registered on this very account. Just telling them you registered it 10 years ago isn't like you are actually in the account you registered it under. Find that info, and you will probably have better luck.

Thank you for the reply, appreciated. I have downloaded both links and am going through these now.
I did presume that you could not d/l Adobe PS and LR in full, especially the former, as it would be huge. I did think that taking out a monthly subscription for 'Photography' with Adobe, (PS & LR cc package) would then give me access via app on mobile to the Premier functions not just the basic very limited free stuff. Common Sections FAQ I notice does address this and I may just have to 'login' on my phone and it will deliver. I will try this now.

Check that server timezone (logInfo(execCommand('date') in linux) and db timezone (xtk:option wdbctimezone) match.
There are also workflow timezones and operator timezones. If they're not all the same, make them the same.

It's sad but bad customer service ( if the only place you can look for a technical problem is a forum, something's wrong) and unstable software ( particulary after a update) is going to put Adobe out!
Infinity? Or did you mean Affinity both times you got that wrong? Either way, no, it can't do more than Photoshop. I have it here on my computer. I've used it extensively. No where near as versatile, stable or capable.

I agree, Photoshop is unmatched and the rest of CC suite is, in my opinion, the best but it's their monopoly on pro-consumer creation programs that means they have no reason to fixed their programs and just offer incremental innovations. Adobe's other programs just as bug filled as PS, I hope the growth of black magic can rustle some feathers at Adobe

意図する回答がズバリで出ることは絶対にないもの、として考えるほかありません。
たとえばなんですが、バーコードといって「どんな種類の」があります。
キーエンス社の情報に書いてあるだけでも一次元・二次元あわせてかなりの種類があります。
そのうえで、下記の情報は少なくとも必要です。
・バーコードの利用目的
・どの程度の数のバーコードを作成するのか
・最終的にどのように出力するのか
・利用しているアプリケーションのバージョン
これらによって、最適な解は変わってきますから、余すことなく情報が必要です。
なお質問される際は下記のジャパンフォーラムの使い方なども参考にしてください。

InDesignで制作した表の中の文字でオーバーフローしている部分に
長体かけたくて、下記のようなコマンドをダウンロードしました。
実行すると長体がかかる部分が限界値である60％になってしまいます。

I doubt that you can modify this behaviour.
To navigate, I've gotten into the habit of using Ctrl+Spacebar+drag to zoom in and Ctril+A to zoom out; Spacebar to drag the view around; Ctrl+1 for 100%. This covers all my needs.
But I understand that it can be frustrating when you switch between applications, because of muscle memory.

K Levels Low After Converting Color Profile for Offset
Hello:
I appreciate any help I get here, and I'll be working on this problem for the next couple of days so I'll be returning to this discussion multiple times.
I am working in Photoshop and Illustrator on an image for a client to send to get 4 color offset printed. This problem is a photoshop issue, or maybe it's something I have just never noticed. Part of the image Im working on involves an image from a coloring book in the background that I scanned into my computer, so the image is completely rasterized and flat. My question refers to the black lines. I originally scanned the image in RGB and converted it to CYMK; the standard US Web Coated SWOP v2. I noticed that when I used the color picker tool on the black lines of the drawing, all the blacks in the scanned in drawing actually, were comprised of CYM color values in the 40-50s and K values in the 0-9 Range. I made my own custom CYMK Color Profile with custom black generation and grey ramp to fix the problem, but my printer says he doesn't use other color profiles besides US Web Coated SWOP v2. Is there a way to use the levels or curves to get my rasterized black lines to be comprised of K and not a CYM combination? Is there anything I can do within Photoshop?
Ive thought about getting a different printer, but haven't yet because I want to fix it within the image if I can.
Also, could the color picker tool be inaccurate when determining the values of CYMK that will be present in the offset print? Like for instance, would the Printers RIP software possibly be a stronger piece of software and extract the Values differently? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
